References: This section contains general and
specialized encyclopedias, commercial and industrial directories, dictionaries, Atlases
and bibliographicals.
Books: this
section contains specialized books published by local, regional and international
organizations involved in the commercial and industrial affairs, in addition to all other
branches of knowledge.
Periodicals:
These include all issues of periodicals the library subscribed to several years ago.
Other periodicals were sent to the library as gifts for definite years. Daily
newspapers are usually kept in this section for a period of not more than two months.
UAE Collection: This section keep the most prominent printed matters regularly or
occasionally published by local departments, federal ministries, institutions and
societies based in the UAE. The section also keeps every important gifted or purchased
books dealing regularly with UAE-related issues. This section is considered the
cornerstone for a prospective hall, which will only house UAE-related books, periodicals,
and documents produced through conferences, seminars and other specialized events
organized to cover various fields of knowledge.
Vertical File: this section is classifying
diversified booklets, guides and other informative publications arranged alphabetically by
countries.
Articles:
this section contains files keeping collections of articles and studies occasionally
appear in periodicals to deal with certain UAE-related issues.
