Guidance Service: the various library
sections, borrowing & searching systems, as well as other other
services are properly introduced to visitors who are also briefed on how to take the
advantages of the modern equipment and computer system available in the library.
Reference Service: the library staff
offers this service in order to apprise customers on how
to use reference books, the Internet and other electronic means. It also offers facts and
concise
information in addition to co-searching service through which the visiting user are
advised
to refer to certain studies, articles or periodicals.
Auto-Search
Service:
through library catalogue by author, title and subject.
Lending Service:
the Chamber staff members are all eligible to
take the advantage of borrowing books for fixed several days outside the library.
Other services include:
* photocopying, Internet search, and instant
information on the telephone line.
* Biweekly bibliographical news letter on
inward periodicals, articles and studies on
the UAE.
* Monthly Bibliographical circular on inward
publications usually circularized among
chamber staff through the intranet e-mail and published in the "International
Commercial News" issued by the Chamber's Trade Relations Dept.
